My Approach
THERAPY
Collaborative, practical, and evidence-based. I am trained in a variety of therapy modalities which I tailor based on each client’s need and preference. I integrate CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ecological Systems Theory, attachment theory and psychodynamic conceptualization to provide an insight-oriented, warm and direct style. I blend skill building and practicing new strategies with deeper work on clarifying patterns and identifying needs.

Adults, young adults, and adolescents navigating ADHD/executive functioning challenges, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, grief and loss, trauma, relationship patterns, and major life transitions.
Common focus areas
- Anxiety disorders and OCD; chronic worry and perfectionism
- Depression, low motivation, burnout
- ADHD and executive functioning (time management, organization, impulsivity, emotional reactivity/rejection sensitivity)
- Identity development, Queer experiences, and family/relationship dynamics

Who I work with
Families seeking stronger connection and communication—including those navigating mental health challenges, ADHD/learning differences, anxiety, school stress, co-parenting/divorce, and identity development. Whether you’re an adult family repairing old ruptures or parents supporting school-age kids, we’ll clarify patterns, align goals, and build simple, sustainable strategies. Sessions are collaborative and honor every voice; when helpful, I coordinate with teachers and other providers and provide parent coaching.

- Executive functioning supports at home and school
- Sibling dynamics, routines, and conflict repair
- Transitions (moves, separations, grief) and stress resilience

What to expect
Collaborative, goal-aligned sessions; coordination with schools and providers when helpful; practical parent coaching to support follow-through at home.
My Approach
PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION
I take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to assessments. I start with a thorough clinical interview to understand the client’s experience and perspective of their challenges, and I talk with relevant stakeholders (e.g. parents, spouses, therapists, physicians, etc). Then I review the clients history and records. The tools I use depend on the focus area, but often include some items completed at home/virtually and some items completed in-person in the office. After the assessment, there is a feedback session followed by an integrated report with specific treatment recommendations and action steps. I am happy to partner with all relevant treatment providers to coordinate the implementation of treatment recommendations.
When it helps
When you need clarity about symptoms, patterns, or diagnosis to guide effective treatment, school planning, or workplace accommodations—especially when ADHD, anxiety/depression, trauma, or differential diagnosis is in question.
Questions we can answer
- Is ADHD present, and how does it affect daily functioning? What strategies would help me or my child?
- What’s contributing to attention, mood, motivation, or behavior difficulties?
- What supports or accommodations would help? Which treatments or interventions are likely to be most effective?
- Is a different diagnosis a better fit (e.g., psychosis spectrum, trauma/stressor-related, OCD, anxiety, depressive/mood disorders, or learning disabilities)?
Who it’s for
Children, adolescents, college students, and adults seeking clarity about learning strengths and difficulties, and specific accommodations that may be helpful. Regardless of whether a diagnosis is identified (e.g., Specific Learning Disability or ADHD), you’ll receive a clear description of cognitive functioning and specific accommodation/strategy recommendations.
Questions we can answer
- How do executive functions—attention, working memory, and processing speed—affect your learning and daily performance?
- How are social-emotional factors (e.g., anxiety, mood, stress) impacting your learning and school or work life?
- What are your cognitive strengths and problem-solving style?
- What is your level of academic skill in reading, writing, and math?
